Niger Delta activist, Asari Dokubo has told President Bola Tinubu that his administration is emerging the worst in the history of Nigeria.
Dokubo, in a video seen by the NPO Reports, said the crisis in Rivers state is a litmus test for the president. He said people he convinced to back Tinubu’s presidential ambition on the strength of the promise that he would perform well have questioned his sense of judgment adding that the Ijaw Nation is highly disappointed.
Dokubo also said Nigeria might start burning from Rivers state if the current political crisis is not handled well by the President.
“The Ijaw people are already angry that this is the worst government
“This government is against the Ijaw people, and you want to add fire to petrol
“The Ijaw people feel this is the worst government, this is a nightmare for them.
“When we were campaigning for you, a lot of Ijaw people called me and were asking questions and I assured everybody that if Tinubu fails, they should hold me responsible.
“And today people still ask if i should be held responsible
“Rivers State is a litmus test, if there’s going to be any fire, it’ll start with Rivers State and I cannot even stop them because they will shove me aside.” He said.
