Reveals Plan to Deploy Owns’ IREV for Result Collation

The 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has expressed readiness to die protecting his supporters’ vote at the forthcoming election.
Obi also revealed plan to deploy an independent Result Viewing Portal for the collation of the election results as he alleged plot to manipulate the poll via the Independent National Electoral Commission’s portal, IREV.
The presidential candidate made the disclosure while speaking at a town hall meeting in Port Harcourt on Thursday.
He warned that his party would deploy alternative technology to bypass network glitches, promising to flood the system with independent IReV results to ensure complete transparency during the 2027 polls.
‘They will try to manipulate the IREV. But let me tell you, it will be easy this time. There will be so many IREV.
‘If their own doesn’t work, our own will work. This time around, if their own has glitch, we will give them one that doesn’t have glitch. By allowing them to continue, that glitch will glitch our life.’ He said.
The former Anambra governor thereafter expressed readiness to die protecting the votes of his supporters as he encouraged them to continue with the campaign for the NDC.
‘Be rest assured, go to that campaign, believing that all of us will rescue our country.
‘Don’t be intimidated. Somebody said they are ready to die. Not only you. I am equally ready to die. So, you are not alone.’ He said.
Obi further reiterated that nobody will be intimidated at the polling units, stressing that there is no way about five officials will attempt to intimidate about 50 voters if the voters are well coordinated and demand that their votes count.
‘Nobody and I repeat, nobody will intimidate us again at the polling booth. If you go to any going booth today, the highest number of officials that you will in any polling booth is five.
‘There is no way five people will intimidate 50 people unless they want to be icontimidated. We will make sure we are coordinated to ensure that such intimidation does not arise.
‘The people who are running these polling booths are from families that are suffering from hunger. The police, their children are not in school. All they want is for you to be firm and demand that your votes must count.’ The NDC candidate said.
