The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has explained the operation of its hydrocarbon production and it is being tracked and monitored to minimize unplanned disruptions.
This was highlighted in a statement posted on the company’s official X handle on Wednesday.
As contained in the statement by the company, the NNPC Ltd Production Monitoring Command Centre (PMCC) consolidates data from all operators, providing a unified and real-time view of hydrocarbon production and transport.
This ensures prompt identification of anomalies and minimizes unplanned disruptions.
Additionally, it noted that leveraging on advanced analytics and integrating data, the PMCC equips stakeholders with actionable insights, enabling proactive planning, risk management, and improved operational efficiency.
It also supports predictive and preventive maintenance, ensuring asset reliability and reducing downtime through coordinated tracking of maintenance activities.
By providing a secure platform for data sharing and communication, enhancing problem-solving and operational efficiency, the PMCC fosters seamless collaboration among stakeholders
Similarly, it increases revenue by contributing to increased production and revenue, therefore benefiting all stakeholders in the oil and gas value chain.
