A Lawyer and Yoruba Rights Activist on X identified as Ade Omojola, @AdeJesuRe, has blown hot on popular actor and comedian, Adebowale Adedayo, widely known as Mr Macaroni, over alleged disrespect to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
NPO reports that this is in response to Mr Macaroni restating his opposition with Gov Sanwo-Olu, insisting that he will continue to snub him, because he masterminded his police detention and brutalisation during the EndSars protest.
“I will continue to snub your Governor!!!
“He doesn’t mean Anything to me, Neither do you, your father or your popsy’s father!
“I love that you slaves bring this issue up all the time.
“For everytime you do, I will send you to your masters!” Macaroni said in a post
Omojola in his tweet recalled all the actions Gov. Sanwo-Olu took during the protest, emphasizing that Mr. Macaroni grew his social media following during that period, to then became an Obedient.
He further stated that Mr. Macaroni has unknowingly placed himself in prison while calling others slaves.
“Mr. Macaroni, during End-SARS, you’ll recall that Gov. Sanwo-Olu was at the protest grounds; he listened to protestors, drafted a letter, and hand-delivered it to President Buhari.
“We all saw the videos. When the government learned that IPOB was planning on using End-SARS for their agenda, Gov. Sanwo-Olu declared an emergency curfew, because the soldiers were en route to disperse the protest, over the IPOB threat. What else could Sanwo-Olu have done ?
“Years later, you continue to hold a grudge, and disrespect the man. We know that you grew your social media following during End-SARS, and then became an Obedient
“But, at this point, I wonder if you are doing this for clout and to please Obidients; that is a type of slavery – Because the day you cross the boundaries they have for you in their minds, is the day they withdraw every inch of social media support from you.
“Without realizing it, you have placed yourself in a prison, while calling others slaves. Good luck to you sha.” he wrote in the post.
