Nollywood actress, Omotunde Adebowale, popularly known as Lolo, has raised alarm over disturbing TikTok challenges involving young girls.
The actress in a post on her Instagram page on Wednesday, expressed concern over the latest TikTok challenge where girls are requested to flash their breasts on live stream.
She disclosed seeing over three girls doing the challenge at the request of young TikToker.
“I am not happy today at all. I saw a video on TikTok where another TikToker, a young boy that is probably stand behind a house in one dingy place, is asking girls to flash their breast on TikTok.
“And I see different girls not one, not two or three, flashing their naked breast on TikTok and people are watching. And I’m wondering what is happening and they told me it’s a challenge.” She said.
While expressing concern over the rate of rape and assault of females in Nigeria, Lolo called on mothers and guardian over the rate of moral decadence amongst the young generation.
“We are already seeing girls being raped on a daily basis. Not just raped, killed, assaulted, and abused! Yet our young children are not having sense to be able to keep their modesty.
“That you have the effrontary and audacity to show your breast on TikTok at the behest of another TikToker.
“Even if they are paying you, we need to stop this. We are our mothers? Where are caregivers and guardians?
“Our wards are going astray on a daily basis. We thought we have seen everything with Gen Z. What this Gen Alpha will do, it will be something for the books.” She added.
NPO Reports that there has been an upsurge in the case of social media challenges and games which demand females to open sensitive parts of their bodies in order to win gifts.
Many observers have questioned the morality of the growing trend with calls to authorities to act fast.
