Dangote Refinery has announced plan to refund customers who purchase fuel above the new pump price stipulated across its partners’ retail outlet.
NPO reported that the refinery had last month announced N65 reduction in its ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) which saw a drop from N890 to N825 per litre.
The refinery maintained that the reduction was part of its commitment to easing the cost of living and providing relief to Nigerians during the holiday season.
Sequel to the ex-depot price reduction, the pump price was also reduced and had taken effect across fuel stations in partnership with Dangote since the 27th February, 2025.
However, Dangote, in a post shared on its X handle on Monday, announced plan to refund customers who might have purchased PMS above the new price across the retail outlets.
As contained in the post, affect customers are to call +2347074702099 or +2347074702100 to apply for refund.
They will, however, be required to present their receipt of payment with the name of the station.
The refund policy is limited to retail outlets in partnership with Dangote refinery and they inclused MRS, AP, and Heyden.
