Baring all other unforeseen circumstances Former National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress Comrade Adam Oshiomhole will declare to run for the presidency on Wednesday
Victor Oshiooke his media aide, made this known in statement on Tuesday.
Saying that Oshiomhole was earlier billed to have declared, he said some further consultations needed to be done before the decision to unveil his agenda.
The public declaration was earlier scheduled to hold on April 29th at the Cyprian Ekwesi Center for Arts and Culture, Area 10, Abuja but was postponed.
The invitation read, “The formal declaration of Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole to contest for the office of President, Federal Republic of Nigeria in the 2023 general election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress which was postponed has now been rescheduled, after extensive consultations, to hold as follows:
“Date: Wednesday May 4th 2022.
Time 3 pm Prompt. .
“Venue: Cyprian Ekwensi Center for Arts and Culture, Area 10 Abuja.
“Your presence will be highly appreciated.
“We apologise for the short notice and hope that your love for Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole will motivate you to attend, irrespective of any unforseen constraints.”
His declaration comes the same day Governor of Ekiti, Kayode Fayemi will also be declaring at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Both Oshiomhole and Fayemi join the list of other aspirants like Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Transport Minister Rotimi Amaechi, former Governor Bola Tinubu, Governor Yahaya Bello, Senator Ken Nnamani, Mr. Emeka Nwajuiba and Dr. Chris Ngige.
