Kenny Okolugbo, Consultant and Strategist to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has dismissed his alleged confession on his involvement in plot against suspended Kogi lawmaker, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
Okolugbo, in a post on X handle on Saturday, debunked the claim, stating that his account was hacked.
While dissociating himself from the statement, the Senate President’s aide claimed to have regained the account while reporting this case to appropriate authorities.
“I categorically dissociate myself from the statements made in those tweets concerning Senator Godswill Akpabio
“I have since taken steps to regain control of my account, The matter has been reported to the appropriate cybercrime authorities for investigation.” The post read.
Okolugbo had in the now deleted public apology on his confessed to being part of a deliberate scheme aimed at tarnishing the reputation of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.

He disclosed how he met with U.S-based Nigerian activist, Sandra Duru, in London where plans were made to manipulate Senator Akpoti’s voice recordings and hack her phones, with the intent to discredit and ridicule her.
Okolugbo would, in another post after the disclaimer, deny meeting Duru, claiming that the last time he was in London was in 2024.
“The Last time I was in London was 5th November 2024 How could I now have met Sandra Duru ?
“I didn’t know her then there was no sexual allegations against SP Akpabio there was no change of seat in the senate . How desperate people lie and are not smart. Investigation is ongoing.” He said.
