Veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva, has lost her elder brother, John Silva.
The actress made the announcement in a post on her Instagram handle on Thursday.
According to the post, John passed away on the 29th of August at the age of 72.
His cause of death was however not disclosed by the actress who described him as her easy go lucky brother.
“With acceptance of God’s sovereign will, we announce the call to glory of my dear brother, John Olabiyi Silva. Long John Silva, Bros B, Uncle B, My easy go lucky brother. Rest in peace. January 22nd 1953- August 29th 2025.” Joke Silva wrote.
Tributes has since flown on the actress’ page and fans and friends expressed their condolences over the loss.
