The disturbing video of lady swept away by heavy flood has sparked mixed reactions following failed attempt to rescue her.
As captured in the video shared on Instagram on Tuesday, some residents of the flooded community had extended a rope to the lady who was stuck in the middle of the torrent flood.
Other residents had watched in panic as the lady attempted to step into the flood with the rope in her hands.
Unfortunately, she was knocked off balance by the flood which eloped and washed her away in seconds as the onlookers screamed in shock.
Though the exact location of the incident was unconfirmed, it had however sparked mixed reactions from netizens as some claimed she would have remained at the spot she was trapped.
Others expressed their displeasure with onlookers who were recording her rather than joining the rescuers.

“The robe was to long and not strong enough. If he had tided it very strong around his hip, and then tied it on his arm, he won’t have lost his life. Because people on this end would have pulled him out. The fact is that once you enter that water you lose 100% control of what happens to you.
