President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos on Friday for a working visit, as Nigeria prepares for a low-key 65th Independence Anniversary.
This was announced in a statement issued by Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Friday in Abuja.
Tinubu travelled to Lagos after attending the coronation of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Oyo State.
While in Lagos, the President is expected to engage with key private sector leaders and senior government officials.
As part of the Independence anniversary, Tinubu will also commission the remodelled National Theatre, Lagos, which has been renamed the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts.
He will travel to Imo on Tuesday to inaugurate projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma.
