The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has commenced the sorting and counting of votes cast by the party’s delegates at the ongoing National Convention.
NPO earlier Reported the commencement of the voting exercise as the delegates elect new national leaders of the party.
The event currently holding at the Lekan Salami stadium in Ibadan, Oyo state, had seen over 3,000 delegates and supporters of the PDP stormed the venue.
The party had defied court’s order declaring the suspension of the event as it, in contrast, earlier declared the convention open.
