Senate President Godswill Akpabio has again taken another subtle jab at Sen. Adams Oshiomhole, as he made mockery of the lawmaker representing Edo North Senatorial District over the old video of him massaging a woman’s leg.
Akpabio revisited the incident during the Senate’s plenary session on Thursday.
Recall that Oshiomhole had in February come under spotlight after the of him massaging the leg of a mystery woman surfaced online.
The mystery woman would later be identified as a South African lifestyle influencer and adult content creator, Leesha Andagama, who posted the clip on her Instagram handle.
Following heavy backlash, the lady deleted the video.
Oshiomhole would later disclaim the video which he labelled as AI-generated.
While the incident had long been put to rest, Akpabio however revived it during plenary session earlier today.
As captured in a video shared on X, Akpabio disclosed that he would have loved ask question over the incident.
The clip however failed to capture what prompted the revisit of the incident by Akpabio.
“I don’t want to go outside what we are doing. I would have asked a question that when there was a picture showing one of our Senators massaging the leg of a girl.
“Senator Oshiomole, you very good friend, Senator Lalong came to give me security information. He said we just ignored the massage because we thought it was AI.
“But if you have another evidence, we can look into it if it is not AI.” He said.
The scene which riled up other lawmakers had however sparked mixed reactions with speculations of intensified rivalry between the two lawmakers.
