The Abuja residence of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) 2023 Kaduna Governorship candidate, Isa Ashiru, has been razed by fire.
Ashiru disclosed this in a post shared on his official X handle on Monday evening.
According to him, the fire incident occurred on Sunday night.
Video attached to the post showed the house engulfed in flames as neighbours and evacuated occupants of the house watched ravaging inferno.
However, the former House of Representatives member who represented Makarfi/Kudan Federal Constituency confirmed that no life was lost to the incident.
He described the incident as a reminder of the temporary nature of worldly possession.
“My Abuja home was completely lost to a fire yesterday, but I’m deeply grateful that no life was harmed.
“Moments like this remind us of the temporary nature of worldly possessions and the perfection of Allah’s plan.
“Please keep my family in your prayers ALHAMDULILLAH at all times.” He wrote.
