A Nigerian content creator who accused Delta State lawmaker, Sen. Ned Nwoko, of assassination plot against his estranged wife and Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has refuted his claims as the lawmaker petitions the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, over the allegation.
NPO Reported that the content creator had in a viral shared on X on Thursday disclosed how he and his gang were allegedly paid N5 million by Nwoko to assassinate Regina.
He alleged that the lawmaker provided them with Regina’s location and movement, but they refused to carry out the task.
The content creator however warned the Nollywood actress to be careful while claiming that his life is at stake over the video.
Reacting to the video, Nwoko dismissed the allegation in an official statement issued on his X handle.
The Nigerian politician fumed over the allegation which he labelled cyber stalking, harassment, and defamation of his person.
He reportedly instructed his lawyers to file a petition to the IGP, Director General of the Department of State Service (DSS), and the Commissioner of Police on Cyber Crime Unit for the investigation and prosecution of the content creator.
In the wake of the development, the content creator who identified himself by his TikTok handle, Liar of TikTok, uploaded another video on Friday, disclaiming the allegation.
He claimed he was only creating contents as he pleaded for forgiveness from Nwoko.
“Good morning Sir Ned Nwoko, I am very sorry. It was a content.
“Na content I dey do. My name is liar of TikTok. I did not know it will lead to this way.
“I don’t have much to say. I am very sorry Sir. I don’t have mother I don’t have father.
“I have nobody to come and help me out. Please I am begging, forgive me.” He said.
