Former Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswam, has officially decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC) hours after dumping the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
NPO earlier Reported that the two-time Benue governor withdrew his membership from the opposition party in letter addressed to Mbagber Council Ward, Logo Local Government Area of the state.
Suswam had, in the letter, admitted that the decision to leave the party was not taken lightly, adding that the PDP had provided him with many opportunities in the past to serve the state and nation.
The ex-governor would however emerge hours after at the APC office in his ward where he registered as a member of the ruling party.
Posts shared on X on Wednesday evening showed a quite excited Suswam displaying his APC membership card as officials and other members of the party took pictures with him.
