The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps’ (NSCDC) show of force in Abuja ended in horror as one of the corps’ operational vehicles crushed a female officer.
The tragic incident reportedly occurred on Saturday during a display by the NSCDC’ FCT Command’s Female Strike Force.
Video of the incident on X showed the moment the NSCDC personnel who sat beside the driver fell off the moving vehicle and got crushed by the front wheel.
Other officials rushed towards the vehicle with to rescue the female officer as the audience gasped in horror.
The shocking reaction from her other female colleagues showed that the crush had rendered the officer fatally injured.
She was swiftly rushed to the hospital by ambulance which arrived at the scene moments after the accident.
The NSCDC’s current condition cannot to be ascertain as at the time of filing this report.
