Okin Biscuits, once a household favourite among Nigerians, has resumed production after a 17-year hiatus.
Biscuits have rolled off one of the company’s rehabilitated production lines at its factory in Offa, Kwara State, for the first time in 17 years.
The famous biscuits rolling off the production line were captured in a video making the rounds on social media.
This development marks a major step towards the revival of the once-popular Nigerian brand.
The return of the biscuits to the market has sparked excitement in netizens.

However, the company made it known that this is just a trial run and the official launch date will be communicated soon.
“We are conducting trials currently. Official roll out date will be communicated soon,” It said.
