A group of former students at the Federal University of Allied Health Science (FUHASE), Enugu State, has stormed the campus in protest over delay in their mobilisation for the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) after five years since graduation.
The aggrieved ex-students returned to the campus on Thursday with placards demanding the immediate processing of the NYSC mobilisation.
As captured in a video shared on X, students who are largely from the 2021 sect expressed their frustration with the delay as they called out the institution’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. John Emaimo.

Some of the inscription on their placards read ‘mobilise us for NYSC’, and ‘We are tired of excuses since five years’, ‘My parents are questioning me if I truly graduated’.
Also joining the protesters were ex-students who graduated seven years ago but are yet to be mobilised for service.
Meanwhile, the protest would be disrupted as the school’s security operatives and officials prevented the ex-students from proceeding further into the campus.
A clip of the confrontation showed one of the officials with placards seized from the protesting ex-students.
The ex-students have long been clamouring for the NYSC mobilisation as an old clip of their protest on the 29th of June, 2025 also surfaced online.
