A lecturer at Rivers State University has come under public scrutiny after being spotted at his Point-of-Sale (POS) business, where he was seen attending to customers while also handing over students’ examination booklets to his children to assist in marking and scoring.
The clip was posted by an X user @OzorNdiOzor on Sunday.
“River State University lecturer, spotted at his POS shop focused on his business while he handed over the examination booklets to his children to help him mark and score students
“Probably the reason students sometimes fails courses unjustifiably.” he wrote in the post
The clip showed that the lecturer appeared more focused on running his POS operations than on personally assessing the examination scripts.
This has therefore sparked a mix of reactions from social media users.

“Garbage in, garbage out, this kin lecturer will expect you to reproduce their notes verbatim; otherwise, it’s an automatic F. No matter what you write, marks are awarded “as the spirit leads”
“Most students only pass if they understand that particular lecturer’s style and through sorting him.”
