The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has declared the venue for its National Convention ready and fortified despite threats against the conduct of the convention.
NPO Reported that the ADC had on Monday resolved to use the Rainbow Event Centre in Abuja following the alleged rejection of the party’s request to use the Eagles Square for the event.
The ADC also met stumbling block in its bid to use the MKO Abiola National Stadium as the Ministry of Sports allegedly rejected its request.
Prior to the settlement for Rainbow Event Centre, several private centres were also alleged to have turned down the party over fear of intimidation by the government.

The ADC would eventually strike agreement with the management of Rainbow Event Centre after the series of rejection.
Despite alleged threat to revoke the license of the event centre, the facility has been decorated ahead of the convention.
Pictures and videos shared on X by the ADC Vanguard, the coalition mobilisation wing of the party, showed the organised stage decorated with ribbons.
