The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of ordering telecommunication companies to weaken the network services at the venue of its National Convention in alleged plot to sabotage the event.
This is coming barely an hour after the ADC Vanguard, the party’s coalition mobilisation wing, accused the President Bola Tinubu-led APC administration of directing the electricity distribution company to disconnect the Rainbow Event Centre from the national grid.
ADC Vanguard, in a post on its X handle, alleged that the venue of the event was been disconnected from the national grid in a bid to sabotage the convention.
While it disclosed that the event centre had since switched to generators, the group would again raise alarm over poor network within the venue.
As contained in a separate post, the ADC Vanguard claimed the APC had probably directed all TelCos to weaken their service around the Rainbow Events Centre.
It however disclosed that STARLINK had been deployed at the venue for use by the party members and leaders.
“The network is very poor within the venue.
“Tinubu’s APC probably directed telecommunications companies to weaken the network around the Rainbow Events Center.
“They have no idea we have installed STARLINK hours before the convention started.” The post read.
