There are indications that the All Progressive Congress may not take lightly the Thursday outburst by former Governor of Lagos State and a presidential aspirant Bola Tinubu against President Muhammadu Buhari.
National Chairman of the party Senator Adamu Abdulahi was speaking with reporters when asked for the position of the party leadership over the comments which had dominated discussions on the political scenes in the last 48 hours.
The APC chairman, who spoke at the national secretariat of the party, said the party may sanction the aspirant over his outbursts.
The chairman did not state in categorical terms what the sanction could be .
Tinubu had in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Thursday said he made Buhari President in 2015 adding that the President failed three times before he came to his rescue.
He said the President even at some point cried publicly and said he would never contest elections again.
Tinubu said since he emerged the President, he had never asked for any favours including food, money or contracts.
Many have accused Tinubu of saying more than necessary.
It is being said that the comments have angered many of his supporters from the North.
