Nigerian Afrobeat star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has formally announced his arrival at the re-election campaign of his uncle and Osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke, with a grand entry which saw him jumped onto the stage from the crowd.
Davido’s arrival in Osogbo, the state’s capital city, on Thursday was met with cheers from the crowd of supporters who stormed the venue of the campaign.
Rather than taking the designated route to the stage, the 2026 Grammy Awards nominee chose to walk through the crowd before jumping onto the stage alongside his cousin and son of the state governor, Adebayo Adeleke, popularly known as B-Red.
Video capturing the moment shared on X showed Davido reaching for the stage’s steel barrier before being awkwardly assisted by his security details.
B-Red followed suit, scaling the barrier as Davido assisted him.
They both approached a visibly excited Adeleke who thrilled the mammoth with his signature dance steps and Davido’s ‘Feel It’ single rented the air.
