Drama has again erupted between legendary afrobeat singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, as the Edo state lawmaker created scene at a nightclub where she tracked the musician to.
Osawaru was reported to have stormed the grand opening of 90’s Lounge in Abuja, a nightclub owned by 2Baba’s friend, on Friday night.
According to sources, the lawmaker had waited for 2Baba at the lounge where he was billed to perform.
On his arrival, Osawaru went to meet the singer but was initially restricted by security personnel and 2Baba’s friends.
Video of the encounter showed the lawmaker shouting and demanding to see 2Baba.
‘You cannot tell me to leave. My husband is here.’ Osawaru could be heard saying.
After several minutes of confrontation, 2Baba finally granted Osawaru attention with the singer accompanying her back to the lounge in a bid de-escalate the situation.
While the actual cause of the drama remains unclear, some reports claimed that the couple had not been on good terms or the past few months with 2Baba allegedly avoiding Osawaru.
