- Odibo Victory
Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 housemate, Chinecherem “Neche” Maduagwu, has emerged as the Head of House (HoH) for Week 3 of the reality show.
Neche, a 25-year-old lawyer from Anambra, emerged winner of the weekly HoH challenge held on Monday, defeating other housemates, including Chimsom Chuka, in the final stages of the competition.
The moment was captured in the show’s livestream on Monday.
Her victory makes her the second female Head of House of the season, following Sheba’s win in Week two and the third HoH overall after Chimsom, who won in Week one.
As the HoH, Neche is immune from this week’s eviction and also gets leadership privileges and influence over activities in the house.
Following her victory, Neche selected Sultex as her Deputy Head of House.
Sultex subsequently chose Oyin to share the Head of House loft with him, in line with the season’s arrangement where the HoH does not automatically occupy the loft.
The housemates later proceeded to the nomination process, where they participated in the week’s save-and-replace style nominations.
After the housemates selected those to be saved, Neche exercised her Veto Power and removed Gerard from the saved list.
Biggie subsequently addressed the housemates and announced the final nomination outcomes.
Those safe from eviction are Neche, as HoH; Chimsom Chuka, who was named Most Influential Player of the Week (MIPOW); Bluethopia and Cassi, who were saved through the house nominations; and Aikou and Flora, known as The Gambits, who have season-long protection.
The remaining 16 housemates are now up for possible eviction and will rely on public votes to remain in the competition.
