- Demands Ballot Count Before Voting Begins
Party agents in Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State have raised concerns over shortage of ballot papers in the ongoing governorship election.
In a video seen by NPO Reports on X, the party agents insisted that the ballot papers delivered to the area must be counted and verified before voting begins.
According to one of the agents, the electoral officials had told them that 594 ballot papers were brought to the location.
However, the agents alleged that the number of ballot papers available was less than the declared figure.
Questioning the discrepancy, one of the party agents said,
“You claimed you brought 594 ballot papers for us, but it’s not up to 594, how come?”
The agents therefore demanded that the ballot papers be counted in their presence to confirm the actual number available.
