Senator Francis Fadahunsi, the lawmaker representing Osun East Senatorial District, has again come under public scrutiny after another video of him allegedly telling supporters to deal with whoever voted against the All Progressives Congress at the ongoing 2026 Osun Gubernatorial Election surfaced online.
This is coming days after threatening to kill Accord Party members, a threat which sparked public outrage and led to his invitation by Osun Police Criminal Investigation Department.
Fadahunsi would again plunge into another round of controversy with his appearance at his polling unit, PU 001, NUD Primary School, Collation Centre in Ilase-Ijesa area of Osun.
After casting his vote, the lawmaker could be heard charging APC supporters in yoruba to monitor the vote of every electorate at the poll to confirm who voted for the party while dealing with those that voted other parties.
‘Monitor everybody’s votes. Anyone who voted wrongly in Ilase is not from Ilase.’ He said.
The video had again attracted rounds of public backlash with the spokesperson of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s campaign group, Pelumi Olajengbesi, condemning the lawmaker.
Olajengbesi labelled the threat as scandalous as he called on security agencies to stop Fadahunsi from further intimidation of voters.
‘This is scandalous, unacceptable and undemocratic. The security agencies must immediately stop the voter intimidation by Fadahunsi and his foot soldiers.
‘One would have thought that he had learnt his lessons with his last despicable out but alas! A leopard never changes its spot!’ He wrote.
