President Bola Tinubu has showered encomium on Zamfara State Governor, Dr Dauda Lawal, over his 61st birthday.
Tinubu, in a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, described Lawal as a renaissance governor who has brought positive change to Zamfara.
The president particularly acknowledged the governor’s infrastructure and urban renewal drive, as well as his industrialisation effort in the state.
He commended the governor for going beyond infrastructure provision to rehabilitate over 800 schools, recruit over 2000 teachers, upgrade hospitals, and provide medical supplies across Zamfara.
Tinubu also hailed Lawal’s multi-sectoral approach to governance, maintaining that it is the right step toward holistic development, especially in human capital development.
The president wished him good health and renewed strength as he continues to serve the state and the nation.
