Petrol pump prices have risen to as high N1,395 per litre in parts of Lagos following another increase in the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) by the Dangote Petroleum Refinery.
The latest adjustment saw the refinery raise its petrol gantry price from N1,265 to N1,350 per litre, effective Saturday, September 12, 2026.
In a circular issued on Friday by the refinery’s Group Commercial Operations office, customers were notified of the revised prices.
Petroleumprice.ng also confirmed the new gantry price at N1,350 per litre, while the coastal delivery price increased from N1,669,545 to N1,783,530 per metric tonne.
The latest adjustment is the fourth increase in Dangote Refinery’s petrol gantry price since August 21.
The refinery first raised the price from N1,165 to N1,185 per litre on August 21, before increasing it to N1,200 on August 26.
It subsequently raised the price to N1,265 on August 29 and has now added another N85 per litre, bringing the gantry price to N1,350.
Customers were directed to return all existing Authority to Collect documents for repricing. A new volume contract would then be issued to enable the immediate resumption of loading.
The latest petrol price increase comes amid elevated international crude oil prices.
Brent crude recently climbed above $104 per barrel, after earlier rising beyond $107, as the prolonged confrontation between the United States and Iran continued to disrupt oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz.
