Amidst Muslim-Muslim Ticket Debate, CAN Members Attend Unveiling of Tinubu’s Running Mate

Despite the argument heating up over All Progressive Congress Muslim-Muslim ticket, some members of the Christian Association of Nigeria have attended Wednesday’s unveiling in Abuja of the running mate to the party’s presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Senator Kashim Shetima.
Though the true identities of the clerics could not be ascertained as at press time, those present were believed to be high ranking clerics of some churches.
The NPO Reports gathered that they were Christian leaders from Borno state where hails the running mate.
It could not be confirmed if the umbrella body of Christians is fully aware of the attendance.
Spokesman to the President of CAN, Bayo Oladeji had not responded to inquiries sent to him as at the time of filing this report.
