Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state on Wednesday named himself as the Commissioner for Works in the newly established state executive council. This was just as the Governor swore into office 25 others who would serve as commissioners under his administration.
A former Commissioner for Local Government Affairs and Chieftaincy matters under the Rauf Aregbesola administration, Kolapo Alimi will head the Ministry of Information while a former Dean of the Faculty of Education at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile Ife, Prof Moruf Ademola Adeleke was named Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning.

The gaffe had drawn loud laughter from many present at the event as many laughed over the gaffe.
The pronouncement has been a subject of mockery on social media with many sharing the videos of the moment the Governor made the gaffe.
