The brother of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has confirmed that the sit-at-home foisted on the South-East region of Nigeria is no longer in force. Kanunta Kanu, the brother to the IPOB leader said in response to the claims by the Finland based leader of the armed wing of IPOB, Simon EKpa that a letter written by Kanu asking for an end to the sit-at-home was fake.
NPO Reported that a letter written by Kanu asking Ekpa to call off the sit-at-home had gone viral on Thursday. But Ekpa had dismissed the letter as fake saying the sit at home must continue.
Kanu’s brother had posted on his twitter page, “Calling for Sit At Home when you want is your choice, but do NOT use #MaziNnamdiKanu name to do so”.
“Sit At Home in #Biafraland is hereby cancelled by #MNK.
“If Sit At Home is your new franchise, please do that with your name,”
