The journey ended for Nigeria’s Super Falcons Monday morning as the English side won in their encounter with 4 goals to 2.
The match was decide via penalty shootout after the 2 sides played the first 90 minutes of goalless draw which also extended into a 30 minutes extra time.
The match thereafter ended 4 goals in favor of England with Nigeria securing 2 goals in the shootout

The ongoing Nigerian FIFA Women World Cup has entered into an extra time as the two teams from Nigeria and England have played a goalless draw.
It has been a tension-soaked game as the two sides displayed mastery of the game.
At the early part of the march, the Nigerian girls nearly found the net in the 9th minute of the game.
At the 88th. minute, Laurent James was issued a Red Card for stepping on a Nigerian player deliberately.
She had initially been issued a Yellow Card but a VAR review showed that her offence was more than a mere accident.
A defensive error also nearly cost the Nigerian team its first goal but for the good save by goalkeeper, Nnadozie Chiamaka.
Asisat Osohola was brought into the game at the 58th minute of the game but her coming in failed to produce the expected result as she was policed most of the time.
A 65th minute error in the goal mouth of the Nigerian side almost resulted in a goal for England. The ensuing corner kick went over the bar.
At 90 minute, there were no goals on each side.
The match was however extended by 6 minutes of extra time.
The teams are to go into an extra time of 30 minutes.
