The presidency has denied access to many media organisations to cover the ongoing parade to mark the country’s 63rd independence anniversary.
It was learnt that access was given to Channels TV, TVC, AIT, Arise TV, cameramen, News Agency of Nigeria Photographer, VON reporter, NAN reporter and the Nation Photographer.
A source told the NPO Reports Sunday morning that the presidency media office had provided an online channel through which other media organisation could monitor the event.
The parade, which is being done in place of a more elaborate celebration usually at the Eagles Square, Abuja, is part of the manifestation of the low key nature of this year’s event.
