70-year-old man, Hadi Usman, is being celebrated for his construction of many useful devices that have earned him the title of an Engineer.
Usman has built a radio station, and transmitter and others for which he is has bagged an Honourary doctorate degree.
Usman who established a radio station, Radio transmitter, Vespa engine helicopter, telephone (handset) etc in the 1970s has also recently invented a generator that doesn’t use any form of fuel, stove that uses water, and many other inventions.
Hadi who is an indigene of Gombe State from Jekadafari Ward of Gombe LGA, has never attended any formal education but has memorized the Holy Qur’an at the age of 12.
He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate degree of Science at the just concluded 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th combined convocation of Gombe State University.
