President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday opened the new terminal of the Muritala Mohammed International Airport Ikeja expressing hopes that with the new facilities, the new terminal will improve the economy of the country.
Present at the opening ceremony were the Minister of Aviation Hadi Sirika, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other dignitaries.
According to the estimate of the Ministry of Aviation, 14 million passengers are expected to use this facility annually.
The President later took a tour of the new terminal moving from one section of the Massive facility to another.
