Few days after it launched its direct flight from Nigeria to the United Kingdom, Air Peace Airline on Tuesday warned customers against the activities of scammers who have cloned its website.
The company said the scammers used some of its identity collaterals to come up with a website and have used the site to invite many for booking in order to defraud them.
NPO Reports that Air Peace launched its first flight to London from Lagos with lots of excitements especially in the face of prohibitive costs of flights to the UK.
In a statement released by the company Tuesday afternoon, it said its attention has been drawn to the existence of a website “www.flyairpeace.uk” purporting to be an official Air Peace website and defrauding unsuspecting individuals, “We would like to dissociate the Air Peace brand from this fraudulent site because it is not owned by us. “The one and only website of the Air Peace remains “www.flyairpeace.com” “Members of the public should totally ignore the site as it is impersonating Air Peace and fleecing passengers.” the airline said
