The daughter of late M.K.O Abiola who also doubles as Director General Presidential Campaign of Governor Yahya Bello has said that Governor Yahya Bello if given the opportunity to lead in 2023 will run an all inclusive government.
Hafsat made this known on Sunday evening while featuring on Arise Tv Program tagged “Sunday Live”
Hafsat said the campaign Platform of Yahya Bello anchored on three major things which she listed as Unity, Security and Prosperity.
She said only Yahya Bellow has shown his readiness to put women and younger Nigerians to where they truly belong by giving them opportunity to serve in his government.
“People have been agitating for young and vibrant president in this country and I saw that in Yahaya Bello. His campaign is based on three platform;Unity, Security and Prosperity.
“The country is divided and this is why we are looking for rotational presidency and the likes and Governor Bello is not relying on any rotational arrangement.
“He emerged as Governor from a minority group in the state and since he took over, he has been working to bring together the three groups that has been deeply divided and has been able to unite them.
“Within his government he has ensured that all six geo-political zones in the country are well represented and only Governor to have proved to Nigerian women that they are important and they deserve the best by giving both by holding some strategic positions in his government and appointing a woman as his ADC and his campaign DG(first of his kind in the country) respectively.
“If given the mandate in 2023 he would definitely replicate all of these at the federal level.
“It’s either we trust people or we don’t. I trust Governor Yahya Bello and I believe he would do well for the country.” She added
She added that another similarity was that the late MKO believed in a United Nigeria, just like Bello, noting that he also treated everyone around him with respect regardless of their social standing.
“These are the same qualities I have seen in the Kogi governor.. He dared to contest, not minding that he was from a minority tribe in Kogi and won, and he has come out again. My father did the same, when it was believed that a Yoruba man could not be President.
“Yahaya Bello is the best man for the job. And you know me, I’m not driven by pecuniary considerations. I do what I believe in. In the next seven weeks, we will be working hard, and when we emerge, we will deliver a Nigeria of our dreams,” she said.
She said her father would have been happy to see that a young, courageous man like Bello had done everything to bring back his Hope ’93 in Hope ’23, with the same person that did the manifesto on board – Sen. Jonathan Zwingina.
