Human rights advocacy group, Foundation for Digital Justice (FDJ) has invoked the Freedom of Information (FOI), demanding the certified true copy of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) forensic findings on the controversial X handle (formerly Twitter) linked to the commission’s Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan.
NPO Reported that INEC had on Monday released the report which vindicated the Amupitan of all the allegations made against him.
Reacting to the development in a statement issued on its official X handle on Tuesday, FDJ disclosed that it had invoked the Freedom of Information Act (FO to demand the certified true copy of the report from INEC.
Coupled with the report, FDJ also demanded the procurement records and metric used in selecting the expert who conducted the forensic investigation as well as the amount of payment made to the expert or firm.
