Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo on Wednesday announced the grounding of Dana planes.
The announcement followed Tuesday crash landing of one of the planes of the airline in Lagos.
NPO Reports that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority had sought the approval of the Minister to ground the planes which was approved on Wednesday.
The airline in a statement by Kingsley Ezenwa Head of Communication of the company, had assured flying public that there were no casualties.
After the plane had skidded off the runway all flights had been diverted from the local wing to the international wing of the airport.
Dana had recorded a major crash on June 3, 2021 killing many passengers.
