An helicopter belonging to the Nigeria Air Force has crashed in a village in Kaduna state on Monday.
NPO Reports learnt that the helicopter crashed at about 5am causing panic among villagers.
The loud noise heard by many villagers forced them out of their residences as no one immediately knew the cause of the bang.
Before the crash, it was learnt that the pilot, having discovered that the plane had developed technical problems ejected himself from the ill-fated aircraft.
When the villagers located the site of the crash, they were said to have found that the pilot was safe.
It was gathered that no long after the crash, military men arrived the scene to secure the crash site and commence investigations.
They were also said to have prevented villagers from accessing the exact point where the helicopter crashed.
