New Prime Minister of Britain, Keir Starmer has held his first cabinet meeting on Saturday 24 hours after his party, The Labour, won the general election.
His election marked the end of the reign of Rishi Shunak the Conservative Party which had held rule for 14 years.
The new Prime Minister was seen in a meeting with his new appointees.
He started his appointments into key positions few hours after being declared the winner on Friday.
In a tweet Starmer made himself, he said “Country first, party second. I held my first Cabinet meeting this morning. My government is ready to serve the people of Britain.”
