Denies Having Protests Leader, Lenin in Its Custody
- By Halimah Olamide
The Directorate of State Security on Monday denied arresting one of the leaders of the protests against hunger and alleged bad governance, Micheal Adaramoye also called Lennin.
This was just as the DSS said it has arrested some of the sponsors behind the production of Russian flags being distributed in Kano.
There have been reports of Lennin’s arrest by security agents in Abuja over alleged incitements against the government.
But the DSS said it “can confirm that Adaramoye Michael (aka Michael Lenin) is not in its custody”
This was just as the service confirmed its operatives have arrested some tailors in Kano State who are responsible for making Russian flags being distributed in the area.
“Some of their sponsors have also been picked. Investigation is ongoing.”
One of the videos that have gone viral which showed scores of protesters holding Russian flags was shared by an X user with the handle xbgulamakukarti
