Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has opened up on her battle with depression, says she is yet to recover from the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) of her arrest in 2017.
She said this in an X post on Thursday via her handle.
Olunloyo noted that she watched her docuseries upon uploading on Youtube after which she went into seclusion.
“Just wanted to let my followers know that I’m currently battling depression. I never got over the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from my triple Port Harcourt prison arrest in 2017.
“I watched my docuseries after uploading it on @YouTube earlier this week and immediately went into seclusion. I had to tell my story. I have not eaten since Monday 3 days now.
She further explained that she no longer has motivation due to some Nigerians ruining her journalism career.
She noted that she has sought the services of a psychologist for treatment and urged those struggling with depression to get the needed help.
“The untold story of how some Nigerians ruined my journalism career hurts me so much. I no longer have any motivation. I saw a Psychologist today for treatment.
“I’m sorry I haven’t been able to upload the 10 chapters here on X. It’s called #PersecutedIJ @DrKemiLawrence on YouTube.
“Depression is not a death sentence. Get help if you are struggling.” She wrote.
