Old boxing horse, 58-year-old Mike Tyson was in the early hours of Saturday beaten by Jake Paul on points in heavyweight fight in Texas
BBC reports that the “Controversial bout is a drab contest, with Tyson miles off the pace.”
NPO Reports that a furious Tyson, had at the pre-bout meeting, slapped Paul causing tension at the meet on Friday.
BBC Reports that Paul improved his professional record to 11-1, while Tyson suffered seventh defeat in first pro fight in 19 years.
Speaking after the bout, Mike Tyson, expressed his delight despite the loss while commending Jake Paul.
“I am happy. I knew he was a good fighter. I knew he was prepared.
“Very good fighter. Absolutely [deserves respect].
“I didn’t prove nothing to anybody, only to myself. I am just happy with what I can do.” Tyson said on Netflix.
Tyson, however, failed to rule out another fight while explaining reason behind wearing knee brace.
“I don’t know, it depends on the situation. I don’t think so, maybe his brother [Logan].”
“Yeah [I had a knee injury], but I can’t use that for an excuse.” He said.
Meanwhile, a famous habit of biting his glove resurfaced throughout the fight.
“That was a habit of mine, biting my glove when I fight. I have a biting fixation.” Tyson explained.
