The All Progressives Congress (APC) has again extended its timeline for the sales and submission of the aspirants’ Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
This coming barely a week after the party extended the original timeline with the deadline for the sale of forms shifted from Saturday, May 2, 2026 to Monday, May 4, 2026.
The initial extension also saw the submission deadline shifted from the 4th of May to the 5th of May 2026.
These would however be changed again in a statement issued on Monday by the APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
According to Morka, the party had approved a further extension of the timelines for the sale and submission of completed aspirants’ forms, as well as the screening process for the 2027 General Elections.
As contained in the statement, the key extensions now see the sale forms extended to midnight, Wednesday, 6th May 2026.
In the same vein, the submission of forms is now extended to midnight, Thursday, 7th May 2026.
Screening of aspirants was also shifted to Friday, 8th May 2026 to Tuesday, 12th May 2026 while publication of screened aspirants to be released on Wednesday, 13th May 2026.
