Super Falcons Captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, has paid a visit to Mountain of Fire (MFM) camp where she shared a testimony over the team’s 2024 Women African Cup of Nations’ (WAFCON) success.
NPO Reported that the Nigeria’s women national team’s skipper had led the Super Falcons to a historic 10th WAFCON victory with their dramatic 3-2 comeback win against the host nation, Morocco.
The team who came from two goals at halftime to seal a 3-2 victory and lift their 10th WAFCON title arrived in Nigeria on Monday.
They were hosted in grand reception in Abuja where President Bola Tinubu conferred the national honour of the Order of the Niger (OON) on the entire team.

A second round of reception was held in Lagos on Thursday with the Super Falcons sponsors, Goldberg and Amstel Malta, hosting the team before organising a trophy parade for them.
With five player of the match award, Ajibade would make a quick appearance at her church on Friday, sharing her testimony at MFM’s August edition of Power Must Change Hands (PMCH) programme.
Ajibade, who is popularly called Mummy G.O on account of her strong Christain faith, recounted how she made similar appearance at the church testify for leading the Super Falcons to their Olympics outing in 16 years.
She also recounted her struggles with injuries and form at her club before the WAFCON tournament.

Ajibade reportedly attributed much of her success to her foundation in spiritual warfare, nurtured through the teachings of her mother and the General Overseer of MFM, Dr. D.K. Olukoya.
“Sometimes last here, I was here to testify after, by God’s grace and mercy, leading the Super Falcons to qualify for the Olympics. And fast forward to May, when I was in my club. This last season has been very difficult season for me.
“During May power must change hands, I was here quickly for a deliverance programme and I also joined the Power Must Change Hand programme and I went back quickly again to my club to round up for the season. It was really tough. I was going through injuries; I was through pains and all sort of things.
“I don’t know how to figure all of these things out, but I just had to come here quickly.” She said.
Ajibade would then present her player of the match awards and WAFCON gold medal to Olukoya and his wife.
She was also joined at the programme by the wife of Lagos State governor, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.
