The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Nicholas Ukachukwu, has defeated the Labour Party (LP) candidate, George Moghalu at the polling unit of former Anambra Governor, Mr. Peter Obi, in the ongoing governorship election.
At the polling unit 8 in Umudimakasi Agulu ward 2, Anaocha Local Government Area, Nicholas secured 73 votes, while Moghalu polled 57 votes.
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) came third with 38 votes.
More results are also underway as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials commenced vote counting at their respective polling units.
