The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on security forces in the country to investigate vehicles allegedly bought by the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate Atiku Abubakar and branded in that of the All Progressive Congress candidate Bola Tinubu’s campaign colours.
According to APC through the spokesperson of Tinubu-Shettima campaign council, Fani-Kayode, he said the call for investigation had become neccesary having discovered that no fewer than two hundred (200) vehicles were purchased and branded by Atiku in Tinubu’s campaign colours purposely to cause mayhem in the build up to the February 25th presidential election.
“The purpose for the branding of cars with the Tinubu/Shettima colours & logo by @atiku and his @OfficialPDPNig goons is to commit heinous crimes including thuggery, robbery and murder, with those vehicles in an attempt to implicate the Tinubu/Shettima PCC and the @APCPresCC2022.
“Some of those cars were parked in front of Atiku’s campaign headquarters in preparation for distribution all over the country.
“Our intelligence unit has uncovered the fact that no less than 200 vehicles were purchased and branded by Atiku for this dastardly plot,” Fani-Kayode wrote on behalf of APC
